Warm up your day with a 30 minute Ecstatic dance set!
ZEGG Forum community sharing, see below. Time varies
An important part of camp! We start each camp morning with a circle to re-connect and learn about what's happening that day at camp. We offer appreciations to each other. This is a time to express any concerns or needs of a logistical nature. Announcements are made about karma yoga duties, the day's schedule, and descriptions of the workshops.
We meet in small groups to check in about your experiences at camp. Time varies
Open Sessions are an opportunity for campers to convene dialogue groups on topics they've been wanting to explore, or create group massages, or do a music jam together. You can sign up on the Open Space schedule if yo u wish. Time varies.

A time to create sacred space, and share in small groups, before the unguided section of the temple opens. Temple space opening events will take place for the first 1/2 hour every night.
Deeper connections in a sensual open indoor space. Going to the temple is completely voluntary. It might include spending time with one or more friends in a close loving way. There are guidelines for sharing this space in a way that is safe and comfortable for everyone, and following these guidelines is a requirement for all temple participants.

We welcome each other into the camp community and go over the nuts-and-bolts of camp culture and logistics. Let's find out who's here and what we have to offer each other! We'll spend much of the time moving around, meeting new folks and deepening existing relationships.
Forum Team
The Forum is a group process developed at the German community ZEGG to provide a stage for whatever is happening inside the person: one's true motivations, deep feelings, ideas and emotions. The Forum helps facilitate transparency, sharing and clarifying unsolved situations of daily life, and it can be a catalyst for one's own personal growth.

We will explore multiple dimensions of consent through varied and expressive experiential activities. After addressing the basics through reviewing the FRIES* acronym [using a chart/handouts], and introducing some scenarios with role plays, we will put them into practice by initiating and responding with yes/no in partners.
If you are a new camper, this is a required event so we are all on the same page!
with Riana and Nickie
Delving deeper into the nuances of consent, we will play and practice to explore the following inquiries together: How can we practice 'SMART'* consent? How can we clearly and graciously communicate a 'no'? And, what does that 'no' entail: not at all, not like that, not under these circumstances, not now... How can we think of consent as an RSVP to an invitation: first focusing on what, where, when and how - and then inviting the person?

In a body-honoring community, we have a responsibility to educate ourselves on how to keep ourselves safe while having fun. We’ll practice talking with community and prospective partners about these issues.
We will explore the guidelines for participating in the Temple space, where we can be sensual in a respectful and safe environment.
If you have never been to a temple at camp, this workshop is required in order to enter the space.

DUP are easily learned, with gentle movements that even "non-dancers" can greatly enjoy. Singing sacred, ancient phrases creates a full body healing vibration, and when conscious movement is added, these become powerful spiritual practices. Each dance will be fully taught, no experience is necessary.

For this playshop, each participant has the opportunity to connect for nine minutes with different people. On each nine-minute date, the first two minutes are used to find agreement about what the participants would like to do on their date. They then have five minutes to dive in and explore what they have agreed to, followed by two minutes to wrap up and share about the experience. All are encouraged to find dates with campers of all genders. Partners are selected randomly.

Enjoy playing and moving alone and together to wonderful music!

A R games involve leaning into an edge of vulnerability (with consent) and maybe sharing that which we are disinclined to speak about. It’s not uncommon for a new awareness to arise during the course of a game. Awareness is the start. From there, the healing is to transform, transmute, and let go. AR games are fun, dynamic, smile-inducing, and both light hearted and potentially encompassing deeper work!

A powerful ritual where we create a sacred space to adore and honor each other's physical forms as the magical, amazing, divine creations that they are. We use fantasy and imagery, costumes, offerings, and light, reverent non-sexual touch to step out of our usual personalities and drop into deeper levels of awareness. This ritual will have a clothing optional segment, for those who wish to be "skyclad". Please be comfortable with group nudity.

How to use the power of qi and intuition to stretch, wiggle, wobble, play, feel your feelings, pleasure, & embrace sensation in the body.
A brief initial description about my journey through structured and intuitive/freeform movement, then an intro to this practice of intuitive qi. Lots of time with music playing & participants invited to move, play, & explore with the possibilities of the body. Occasional verbal reminders to tune into the body, otherwise time to explore.

What does weight sharing and bearing reveal to us about our habits in relationship? How do we feel about falling & how might our relationship to self, earth, and other grow? What happens inside us when we find ourselves being moved? How does the physical experience of momentum help us recognize our boundaries, or meet our edge of in trust flow states? With a gentle, mindfulness based approach, we will explore how our bodies carry the greatest gifts of wisdom &insight into our psyches.

Since our yonis are so hidden, we often never see another woman's beautiful flower. Sometime we have not really looked at our own. This is a change to explore our anatomy, learn about our amazing structure, and give each other blessings and appreciation.
Our first work will be discussion of our feelings about our yonis, clearing some of the old feelings around being female, and celebrating ourselves.
We will discuss the hidden structure of the clitoris and Sacred Spots, and female ejaculation. Then we will do mirror work, with each women looking at her yoni with the others around to support, as she notices the unique design she carries. Our last process will be blessing and adorning each other's yonis with flowers and jewelry. The group will create a magical intention for the protection and respect of each woman's yoni.mazing structure, and give each other blessings and appreciation.
One of the most fun parts of camp, is the fast and furious auction where you get to donate goods or services for the benefit of La'akea community! Sell your products, your yummy self as a servant for an hour, or a a visit to your house or a massage! All in good fun!
Cabaret is one of the highlights of camp! Come one, come all, and show us more about you! No talent is required - "if you can walk, you can dance; if you can talk, you can sing!" Sing, dance, read poetry, share art, do a skit.

Taming your APEs is a discussion that came from my own self-work. It expands on the idea of challenging our assumptions found in The Four Agreements to show how those beliefs affect our perceptions and give rise to the expectations we impose on other people, especially those with whom we are in a relationship. We'll discuss tactics and tools to become more mindful in recognizing those in a moment of stress.

What sabotages our compassionate loving relationships? While we all desire them, what causes us to flounder? What is our own personal challenge? We unknowingly sabotage our relationships by believing and acting from our reified selves (what we have been molded into from conception, childhood, culture). We will explore how we show up in our relationships, using as a roadmap to healing the past and opening to our innate love. From a Dzogchen practitioners perspective.
Relaxing and singing uplifting songs, led by participants, is a lovely way to spend our last early evening program.
Honoring the experience of the past days, we will connect, reflect, and bid farewell to this incarnation of our community. Many hugs!
